After two season of fighting crime , Agent Carter has been given her walk newspaper . The ABC show , based on a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe , has been canceled .
The show ’s ratings slip substantially in the second season — and with mavin Hayley Atwell already signed for another show ( it ’s call sentence ) , the composition was on the bulwark . It probably did n’t help that Captain America : Civil War put a not - so - elusive catamenia on the character ’s recollective , exciting , and storied career in the Marvel Universe either .
At least one of ABC ’s Marvel shows will continue , however : Agents of SHIELD is come back for another time of year . But it seems a spinoff that was to be call Marvel ’s Most desire is not making the cut . And for Agent Carter , Jarvis , and the crew , that ’s all she wrote .
