The scruffyMelrose Placealum, 56, was spotted sporting a navy blue jacket, black pants and a backpack while running errands in downtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning. PEOPLEreported on Tuesdaythat the ex-spouses of the formerGMA3: What You Need to Knowco-anchors sparked a romantic connection as they’ve bonded over their shared experience of splitting from their partners when Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, found love with one another.

The broadcasters’romance became public knowledgein November 2022 as photos of them cozying up together surfaced. At the time, Robach had not confirmed her separation from Shue, nor Holmes from Fiebig.
On Dec. 5, 2022, Robach and Holmes were“temporarily” removedfrom the daytime television program. The following month, it was announced that theywould not be returningto their roles at ABC News as a result ofthe company’s investigation into their romance.
On Tuesday’s debut episode of iHeartRadio’sAmy & T.J. Podcast, the couple cleared up the timeline of their romance and revealed thatthey had been living separately from their estranged spousesbefore pursuing a romantic relationship with each other.

According to Holmes, “November 30, 2022, was the day that we were, and this is very important we were outed…. To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings."
“Yes, we had attorneys, mediators,” Robach added. “We were in the middle of divorces.”
“We thought we were protecting our children and our families,” Robach continued. “And we thought we had time and we thought we had a right to privacy and maybe that was foolish and silly?”

Holmes and Fiebig, 44,settled their divorcein December 2022, just weeks after news of his and Robach’s relationship went public. Robach also finalized her divorce with Shue, 56, in March, perPage Six.
Over the course of the last year, Robach and Holmes havebecome more comfortable showcasing their relationshipin public, with many of their romantic outings occurring bothat homeandabroad. They recentlymade their red carpet debut as a coupleat iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2023.
