flat out of Computex , ASUS has a pair of pretty small laptop that blow fantastic 4 grand screens , while still get in pretty damn slim .
The new ultrabooks amount in two unlike flavors . First there ’s the Zenbook NX500 , a 15.6 - incher with a 3840 x 2160 screen , 4 K UHD filmdom . And to push its pixels , it packs an Intel Core i7 processor , a Nvidia Geforce GTX 850 , and 16 GB RAM . For all that , it still manages to wedge itself into a moderately slim bod : 19 mm thick and just under 5 pounds . For reference , that ’s ever - so - slightly loggerheaded and ponderous than a 15 - inch Macbook Retina Pro , but with an even crazy projection screen .
And then if you are disposed to ( try out to ) use all the picture element on that CRT screen for gaming , ASUS also annunciate the ROG GX500 , basically a black version of the NX500 , but with a Nvidia GTX 860 M deep down for artwork . Of course , even the best mobile graphic card(which the 860 M is n’t ) , could wind up strangle under a 4 K load , so do n’t carry full - Re play on this all-day sucker . It ’d kill your barrage anyway . Still , it ’s dependable to see someone fight againstRazer ’s Blade . Competition !
