The opening crawl that open up every Star Wars film is one of celluloid ’s most iconic moments , and will never change , but what happens when you take the stylings of a James Bond celluloid and give it a try ? Magic .
Kurt Rauffer did just that with his short homage to both franchises as part of his bookman thesis at New York ’s School for Visual Arts . He used the film’srejected Sung from Radiohead , Spectre , and the answer works really , really well :
It ’s tonally really dissimilar from what you ’d await in the Star Wars universe , but the admixture of the Sung and the animation just bland out work . It ’s a beautiful sequence .

Rauffer noted that he ’ll have a making of come soon , but hopefully , he ’ll tackle some of the other films – I ’d love to see his take on The Force Awakens .
