Christian Bale will slip into a mock polo-neck toplay Steve Jobsinan upcomingfilm about the Apple carbon monoxide gas - father . ( The one that has nothing to do with Ashton Kutcher . )
Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay , and he ’s jazzed to have Bale on board . “ We needed the good actor on the board in a certain long time range and that ’s Chris Bale , ” SorkintoldBloomberg Television , explaining that Bale did n’t need to try out .
The movie , based on Walter Isaacson ’s 2011 biography on Jobs , is named after the Apple idol for a reason . The Jobs theatrical role is live to command the screen .
“ The purpose is an extremely difficult theatrical role . He has more words to say in this movie than most masses have in three motion-picture show combine , ” Sorkin said . “ There is n’t a scene or frame that he ’s not in , and there ’s a tremendous amount of language . ”
Bale is a good role player , and he has just the right balance of thorniness and genius to nail Jobs . But who is filling the Woz role ? Sorkin did n’t say . My suffrage is for Jonah Hill ( if the real Woz is n’t useable , of course . )
Danny Boyle is plant to aim , meaning we have an Academy Award - winning screenwriter , director , and actor on display board . Meaning this movie might be awesome .
