Eureka Dabbles In Darkness

No more soft shoeing and singing “ Wo n’t You Be My Neighbor , ” for the citizens of Eureka . If you have n’t hear , this hebdomad the niggling sensation townsfolk was in for a big fat upset . The unremarkably sport and lighthearted serial took a startling play for the darker with a tragic surprisal . Click through to talk about the major coddler from this hebdomad ’s episode “ I Do Over . ” Smarmy Nathan Stark ( Ed Quinn ) was killed off this week in a hustle of particle matter , leaving a speechless Carter – and a whole lotta fans – tell WTF ? This calendar week installment marked the remarriage of Stark to his ex , Dr. Allison Blake ( Salli Richardson ) . But then , only four episode into the time of year , the Sci Fi Channel gods saw set to get disembarrass of the middle guy in between the main fibre Sheriff Carter and Blake ’s flirtations . Sheriff Carter awoke to notice himself stuck in a time closed circuit on Blake and Stark ’s wedding ceremony Clarence Shepard Day Jr. . After Carter discover the source of the problem and convinced Stark on his 5th or 6th rotation through the sidereal day that he was n’t brainsick , Stark realized that if he did n’t stop the sentence loop everyone would die . Of course everything depart wrong at the very last minute and Stark has to give himself for the capital goodness . Because even though Carter volunteer to stop the crisis , he does n’t have the genial capacity to suffer in a meth chamber and smirk ( which was really all Stark did to save Eureka ) .

While I ’m not whole oppose to the death of Stark , it was the manner in which they croak about axeing this character that rub me the unseasonable elbow room . Stark is the drop curtain - dead gorgeous ego - fueled transparency to the lovable doe - eyed Carter . He needed to go out with a blast , a swelled bash . Instead , he step into a glass shell and de - generate into little bits . He deserved to go out in a much more fantastic way . It happen so quickly , you could n’t even believe he was expire . And let ’s take on it , you know he ’s not . As with all scifi now , no one ever dies . And since we did n’t see the charred remains of Stark ’s good - lookin ’ hide , I ’m hazard he ’ll be back . But his absence seizure leaves a Brobdingnagian opening for Carter to swoop in and get with Dr. Blake . And I ’m assuming properly when they ’re good and easy , that ’s when Stark will reappear . He said it himself before he left , “ I ’ll see you around , Jack . ” But for now , we ’re back to crackers mummies in next week ’s episode . Sigh . Why could n’t they have killed Fargo instead ? Now that would have been interesting .
