Speaking to the press latterly , Obi - Wan Kenobi himself , Ewan McGregor , said he ’s found it incredibly gratifying and rewarding in the past several years to see the prequel films , which were critically have words , start to get some love .
McGregor continued talk about how his experience making the movies was so dissimilar from the initial reaction — and what it was like to revisit them in readying for Star Wars : Obi - Wan Kenobi , which is out later on this month . “ We put our nub and somebody into [ the prequels ] , ” McGregor said . “ And they were unmanageable to make because the 2d one , the third one , there was so much unripened screen and the low-spirited silver screen . Because George [ Lucas ] was push into this new region that he had design . He was responsible for for ILM and he wanted to max out that technology . But that meant for us that we were very much on downcast screens and unripe screens . And it was heavy study . And to do that and be passionate about it and then for the films not to be very well pick up was really problematic . So it ’s really lovely to have this novel relationship with them now . And then follow them again , I had n’t seen them since they do out , in training for this show … was really coolheaded . I wish them . installment three is really proficient . It ’s a really proficient movie . ”

When you see a plastic film as a child and love it , you retain nostalgia in your heart for it even after you grow up . watch out that flick again makes you feel like you did when you first saw it . For me in person , a picture show like that is The Goonies . I watched it one C of times growing up and still roll in the hay it . But position is everything ; if you express The Goonies today to an adult who ’s never seen it before , they ’re likely to say it ’s terrible . It just have a few X to exchange a consensus wholly . And the clock time has , apparently , amount for the Star Wars prequels .
