The entire Planet Express team comes together on this one , with even Bender pitch in to serve force New New York to remark the plight of its sewer - dwelling citizens .
In general , I ’ve really enjoyed this time of year of Futurama , and the back one-half in especial has been chock full of swell episode . “ The Mutants are Revolting ” is another excellent add-on , with Futurama ’s habitual mix of joke , emotions , and wild idea . Every major character get his or her own little mo , including Hermes ’s self - defeating indignation , Amy ’s gemerald lust , the Professor ’s safe - open techniques , and Zoidberg ’s remarkable ( and cheap ! ) umbrella .
But I ’ve got to talk about the craziest part of the instalment : the Land Titanic , the mammoth land boat that sink at Fifth Avenue and 32nd Street on April 10 , 2912 . Bender ’s hundredth delivery company was a great moment for longtime fans , cramming dozen ( perchance hundred ) of affirm and one - time characters into Bender ’s immense political party . Sure , it ’s a small ego - indulgent , but again , I ’d say Futurama has earned it , particularly when it ’s a agile moment of sport in such a substantial episode . And , like middling much any occasion when Bender plume up , his basic prettiness shone properly through . Seriously , Bender ’s so bloody cunning .
