Remember howCarrie Fisher announcedshe was going to be in Star Wars : Episode VII ? And then someone , presumably at Disney , made her deny her announcement ? Well , I cogitate Goegre Lucas just deny her denial , because he says Mark Hamill , Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are all in for Episode VII , and it ’s middling much a done deal . ask whether members of the original Star Wars cast will appear in Episode VII and if he telephone them before the peck closed to keep them inform , Lucas says , “ We had already sign Mark and Carrie and Harrison - or we were pretty much in last stage of dialogue . So I called them to say , ‘ depend , this is what ’s going on . ’ ” He pauses . “ Maybe I ’m not suppose to say that . I conceive they require to declare that with some big whoop - de - do , but we were negotiating with them . ” Then he adds : “ I wo n’t say whether the negotiations were successful or not . ”
I experience Lucas has retired , but I ’m passably indisputable he ’s still pretty darn aware of what ’s materialise in the cinematic Star Wars universe . So even if Disney in public traverse this , unless somebody actually dies , I think we can all pretty much accept this as fact .
