This awe-inspiring footage shows you what it would like to watch a partial solar eclipse from space . One of the dispute right aside is that , due to the lack of atmosphere around the moon , there ’s no fuzziness along the edge between the moon and the sun , but just as different are the colors .
The observatory uses a telescope that swear out the solar light in multiple wavelengths , unlike than what we see on Earth . Here are some of the other wavelengths that the scope caught as well :
The footage was take on this morning by NASA ’s Solar Dynamics Observatory , when the moon move between the observatory and the sun over the course of 2 and 1/2 minute . Here ’s the video footage of the fond occultation as well :
