Wild took the above photo of a mosquito stand up out of pee with not much more than a DSLR , a couple strobes , some coloured paper , and a mantrap of water .
The former beekeeping professordetailed the procedure on a Scientific American ’s photography blog . It ’s almost startling to get word how simple it actually is . Like a raft of other types of photography , this macro plan of attack requires charge and forbearance . And the pictures are just stunning .
