TheStranger Thingsstar, 19, shared two photos onInstagramMonday in which she revealed she was going through an acne breakout.
The first photo was a mirror selfie of the actress turned to one side as she held up her hair while looking at the camera. In the next slide, Brown shared a close-up of her makeup-free face as she pursed her lips.
“My grandmother embraced her individuality a lot and she expressed herself. I definitely relate to that,” she said. “I’ve been told I’m like her in that respect, and I wanted that to represent my brand as well.”
Brown also said that she hoped the brand would help educate people of her generation on the importance of skincare.

“I think there was a void in the market for young people and I think every young person deserves to have a good start to their skincare routine and beauty routine,” she said at the time.
Many of her fans praised Brown in the comment section of her Monday Instagram post for being honest about her acne.
“Love how you show off your acne. it is normal and okay to get breakouts.♥️,” wrote one social media user. Another fan added, “Thank you for normalizing breakouts. ❤️.”
Brown’s fiancé,Jake Bongiovi, also left a message, writing, “Love it.”

“Those are things that I love about myself now,” continued Brown. “He was a really big, huge part of me loving myself and becoming a woman. It was like, ‘Wow, I really love this person because he allows me to love myself.'”
The two firstsparked romance rumors in June 2021after sharing aphoto together on Instagramandannounced their engagementin April 2023. For the announcement, Brown shared a black and white snapshot of the two onInstagramwith lyrics fromTaylor Swift’s “Lover,” writing, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all 🤍.”
The photo showed the couple embracing one another on a beach and Brown wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.
