There’s never a dull moment within the walls ofTransplant’s York Memorial Hospital.

newest season of Transplant

The season 3 teaser opens with Bash and resident Magalie “Mags” Leblanc (Laurence Leboeuf) operating on a patient, with Bash arguing he did what he had to do “to save his life.”

“Without even thinking about the risks,” Mags shoots back. “You’re reckless.”

Despite the tense exchange, the teaser cuts to a moment where Bash and Mags share a passionate kiss, finally realizing their long-building chemistry after two seasons.

Snippets of Bash and Mags smiling under the sheets, making out over glasses of wine and talking over Bash’s intimacy issues are peppered in between scenes of the cast facing difficult patients in the emergency room, including one man violently tackling another, before eventually drawing a gun.

“Is it always like this?” wonders Theo Hunter (Jim Watson).

This season also promises more change thanks to the addition of a new boss in Neeta Devi (Rekha Sharma). Elsewhere, Devi replaces Jed Bishop (John Hannah) as chief of emergency medicine with the goal of overhauling the department, drawing from her experiences of practicing medicine in the U.S.
