Travis Barker Posts Image of Positive COVID Test on Instagram Story

After the musician, 47, went back on tour withBlink-182following wifeKourtney Kardashian Barker’s “urgent fetal surgery,” Barker shared an image on his Instagram Story in which he held up a positive COVID test.

He uploaded the image on Friday alongside the emojis “🤒😵🥴.” PEOPLE has reached out to Barker’s representation for additional comment.

Barker recently spoke about reuniting with bandmatesMark HoppusandTom DeLongein a video that features previews of the new album and a snippet of an upcoming interview with Apple Music’sZane Loweshared to the band’s YouTube account.

“Why does it take these catastrophes, likeme being in a plane crashor me being sick, for our band to get back together?” he said.

“I always knew that the brotherhood wouldn’t ever deteriorateor wouldn’t be there. I really feel like Blink is us three, and as soon as we accept that and we don’t settle for anything less than that, I just think that’s the future,” Barker added.

Earlier this year, the band stood together when theypostponed their Latin-American tour datesdue to aninjury to Barker’s finger.

“Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery,” he wrote in anInstagram postin March thatincluded an image of him lying in a hospital bed.

“It was a hard decision to make but ultimately, I couldn’t continue to play the drums without it. It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically,” he explained. “So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon🥁🤘”
